Grammarly Is Not Working On WordPress

Follow my steps to get Grammarly working for your WordPress website.

Have You Installed The Grammarly Plugin?

Grammarly (*Paid Link) is a browser extension. It is not part of WordPress.

You must install the Grammarly extension on your browser for Grammarly to work on WordPress.

For Chrome browsers, use the Chrome Web Store.

Search for Grammarly.

Select the Grammarly extension from the list.

Click Add To Chrome.

Confirm by selecting Add Extension.

After a few seconds, you get a confirmation message.

Grammarly is active

You have a Grammarly icon on your Chrome browser. If you don’t, you need to click Manage Extensions.

Ensure the pin icon is blue. Now the Grammarly icon is visible.

Are You Signed In?

You have Grammarly installed on your browser, but it isn’t working on WordPress.

For Grammarly to work, you need an account. If you don’t have an account, sign up for a free one.

Once you have an account, sign in.

You go to your Grammarly dashboard after signing in.

Grammarly is now ready to start.

Have You Activated Grammarly For WordPress?

You have Grammarly installed. You are signed in, but Grammarly isn’t working on WordPress.

Have you activated Grammarly to check for errors on WordPress?

Go to your blog post on WordPress admin, then click the Grammarly icon.

Check the setting for your website. For my site, the option to check errors is off.

Now, Grammarly checks errors on WordPress.
