Install The Astra Theme
There are two ways to install the Astra theme.
You can install Astra directly from your WordPress theme library or upload an installation file.
Install Astra From The WordPress Theme Library
Hover your mouse over Appearance and select Themes.
Next, select Add New.
In the Search Themes box, type Astra.
After a short wait, the Astra theme appears.
Hover your mouse over the theme and select Install.
Once installed, you can activate the theme for your website.
The Live Preview link allows you to customize Astra before activating.
Upload Astra Theme Installation Files To WordPress
Go to www.wpastra.com (*Paid link) and select the Download Now link.
Below the comparison table is a download link for the free Astra WordPress theme.
To get the installation files, you must give your name and email address to subscribe to newsletters.
You can unsubscribe from this list at any time.
You get the installation files after clicking Subscribe & Download.
Once complete, you can upload the file to WordPress.
Return to your WordPress admin dashboard.
Hover your mouse over Appearance and select Themes from the menu.
Next, select Add New.
Then, Upload Theme.
To start, click on the Choose File link.
Select the installation file on your computer and click Open.
Next, click Install Now.
After a short wait, you receive an installation complete confirmation message.
After installation, you have three options.
Click Live Preview to customize Astra before activating.
Select Activate to activate Astra on your site.
Choose Go To Theme Page to return to your installed themes list.
You have Astra installed on your WordPress blog.
