How To Find Your Amazon Affiliate Link Beginner's Guide

In my post, I show you how to find your Amazon Affiliate link, step by step.

Your Amazon affiliate link contains your unique affiliate code and lets Amazon know that you sent them visitors so they can pay you a commission.

If you have just joined the Amazon affiliate program and want to get affiliate links to start earning money, this is the article for you.

Let’s begin.

Step One – Sign Up For The Amazon Affiliate Program

Before you can get an affiliate link from Amazon, you must join their program. It is free to join. As soon as you complete the application, you can start promoting Amazon products with your affiliate links.

Step Two – Browse Amazon Products When Signed In To Your Amazon Affiliate Account

Sign in to your Amazon affiliate account before searching for products to promote to gain access to the Amazon Associates SiteStripe. The SiteStripe appears for affiliates only.

The SiteStripe generates affiliate links with your unique code.

Step Three – Select The Product You Want To Promote

You can use the Amazon SiteStripe to generate a link to a single product page or multiple product pages.

On single product pages, you have the option of using a product image for your website. Multiple products pages don’t have this option.

Step Four – Click On The SiteStripe To Generate Your Affiliate Link

When you request a link from the SiteStripe, it automatically adds your unique affiliate code.

Affiliate Text Links

To get a text link, click on the ‘Text’ link on the SiteStripe.

The highlighted text is your affiliate link. Copy this link and paste it into your blog post. When your visitor clicks on this link, they go directly to the product page on Amazon. Amazon assigns a 24 cookie to the visitor. If they make a purchase, you get a commission.

Affiliate Image Links

To get an image link for your product, click on the ‘Image’ link.

Choose the size of your image. Then copy the highlighted text and paste it into your blog content. A preview of the product image is on the right.

To get an image with text for your blog, click on the ‘Text+Image’ link.

You can disable the open link in a new tab and show border options. Copy the highlighted text and paste it into your post content.

Conclusion

All Amazon affiliates get access to the Amazon SiteStripe. The SiteStripe generates affiliate links with your unique code. If you are not an Amazon affiliate or signed in to your affiliate account, you won’t see the SiteStripe.

The SiteStripe appears at the top of your screen when you are on the Amazon retail website.

Find the product or product page you want to promote on your blog. Then click on the SiteStripe to get your affiliate link. You can have a text link, an image, or text&image link.

Copy the highlighted text and then paste it into your blog post content. Each time a visitor to your website clicks on one of your affiliates links. They go directly to Amazon.

Amazon tracks the visitor with a cookie. Should they make a purchase, you get a commission on everything they buy.
